The American Alliance for Theatre and Education (AATE), the national professional member organization for the field of theatre and education based in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Membership & Marketing Coordinator. - Membership relations services
- Membership acquisition and retention
- Development and implementation of direct marketing campaigns
- Reporting and analysis
- Coordinate the work of members, staff & volunteers to provide exceptional services, information and resources to AATE members
- Efficiently resolve member issues, work with member database to answer queries and make required changes or adjustments to member records.
- Monitor the online event registration system and provide regular reporting to programming team.
- Deliver timely and accurate email newsletters to members based on research and collation of newsworthy information in the field.
- Implement quality control processes, develop new policies and enlist necessary resources to enhance data entry and operational efficiencies.
- Work with Operations Manager to develop new marketing strategies for membership recruitment and retention
- A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university (preferably in Marketing, Non-profit Management, Arts Administration, Theatre, or related subject)
- Exemplary customer/member services skills demonstrated through experience in retail, hospitality or other customer/member services field.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- A passion for theatre and/or arts in education
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS programs, both Mac and PC (required). Email marketing, search, web and database management programs (preferred).
