A strategic client of A.C.Coy’s, is seeking a Chief Security Architect to join them on a fulltime basis, at their New York City corporate location. You as the Chief Security Architect will be responsible for the solutions guidance (design, development, deployment) on all aspects of software/application security to global development teams at the corporation. You will implement Software Security Services, Security Architecture Analysis and Design Reviews (SDLC) Security Code review (SDLC), recommend procedural and technological compensating controls (SDLC, IDLC), Secure Coding best practices implementation, training, Application Threat modeling and Mitigation Services.
We are seeking someone with the following skills and qualifications:
Engineering Degree (Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics).
Current title and experience as a Chief Security Architect for a Fortune 500 corporation or larger Financials Firm
Experience in the Financials/Banking Industry
GSSP Certification - secure software programmer certification conducted by GIAC preferred.
Minimum of 10 years developing scalable, distributed applications with a thorough understanding of platforms like Enterprise Java, .NET with security aspects of Java, C#, C++ languages.
5 years in the Application Security space; including information (storage, transmission, etc.), application (design & development), deployment, run-time (access), operation/support.
In depth understanding of security protocols; including SFTP, secure HTTP, SSH, SSL, Application and
Web Layer Security, as well as application vulnerabilities and fault injections.
In depth security principles to multiple operating system platforms; Windows, SUN OS, Linux, Novell.
Mandatory experience:
Experience with core security and vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools, core security analysis (manual and leveraging automated scanning tools).
Experience implementing an enterprise scale threat mitigation and assurance strategy for software development.
Working knowledge of network, host, physical aspects of security infrastructure.
Experience working with offshore systems development.
Salary for this position is up to $300,000.00 a year, with an excellent benefits package
